We enjoy gospel music and church ministries. We are active in attempting to minister to Senior Citizens in our community and Connie is active in the Women's Ministry of the Ferris Avenue Baptist Church in Waxahachie. We also like to travel. Although we have been to other countries, we love seeing the United States more than anything else. A couple of our favorites recently have been cruising the islands of Hawaii for our 25th Anniversary and a trip to Colorado. Our grandson was with us for the Colorado trip and he really enjoyed camping by the Animas River, riding the Durango-Silverton train, riding horses and seeing the Royal Gorge. He has already planned the next trip, but he has included his little sister. He does think she is too small to enjoy the train, so he thinks that he and PawPaw should ride the train and Miz PawPaw and Emily can stay in the trailer.

The three Cecils (Cecil, Donny & Little Donny) just completed a trip to the Culligan Holiday Bowl in San Diego for the Texas U. & Oregon U. bowl game. We weren't delighted with the outcome of the game, but really enjoyed San Diego.
